Hannah Chaney (she/her, b. 2001) is a queer visual artist and poet based on the east coast. Her work acts as a reimagined diary, exploring themes relevant to coming of age, kinship, queerness, introspection, and self-acceptance. Hannah’s approach is honest and sincere, with a mission of representing herself and those featured in her work as authentically as possible. She has been featured in a variety of exhibitions at Maryland Institute College of Art where she will complete her BFA in photography come May 2025. Her thesis project, This Pride of Mine,  a personal exploration of queerness through portraiture and poetry, using drag as a transformative framework. She is currently an intern at Fifth Wheel Press.
